I love going on holiday to Southern California, I have been there so many times now that I thought it was the right time to put together a list of the best things to do when you’re in the area. The good news is that there’s something for any type of traveler, whatever you’re into I highly recommend you doing all of the following!
Palm Springs is an absolute must if you’re in Southern California. There’s an abundance of things to do there so make sure you go for more than a day. The ideal place to use as a starting point would be the down town area along the famous Palm Canyon Drive. The best things to do in Palm Springs are the tramway, air museum, the Indian Canyons, desert zoo and the awesome whitewater preserve. I could keep going with things to see and do because the list is pretty much endless. You can have a good day trip here but I would recommend a weekend to get the most out of Palm Springs.
Have A Flutter
California is famous for having some of the largest land based poker places in the world. I think it’s always fun to hit up a casino and have a good time. You can have a gamble and who knows, you might win big and that’ll just make the rest of your holiday even better because you’ll be upgrading your hotels and for sure eating in some high class places! However, if you prefer playing from the comfort of your own hotel, you can get the best Californian online poker experience, playing on sites such as those listed on OnlinePokerAmerica.com.
Stars Of Hollywood
Hitting up downtown Hollywood is a must! We’ve all been watching Hollywood movies for as long as we can remember. The place is full of celebrities and even if you’re not the type to get star struck you will still have a great time – you don’t want to miss this! You can spend a whole day in Hollywood and never get bored because there’s so many things to do. Madame Tussauds is fantastic and so is its competitor the Hollywood Wax Museum. Then of course you have to find the star of your favourite movie star to get your new profile pic. You will also bump in to some of the best impersonators and look alikes in the world.
Have you been to Southern California before? I would love to hear all about your experiences, tips and tales. I think it’s awesome when we can share fist hand travel experiences with others, that’s because it makes it easier for people to plan the perfect trip. Just pop your thoughts in the comment section below, I’m really looking forward to reading them all. Thanks for sharing!
