Why Las Vegas is Still Tops for Stag and Hen Parties
With most clubs being open until 4am and plenty of others open after hours if 4am is not late (or early enough) to stop besides pool parties, events and of course the casinos, La Vegas ranks high when those about to be hitched are thinking about how to spend their Hen or Stag night(s).
The famous Strip is lined with many flashy resorts and each grand building boasts the best amenities and attractions that will appeal to most people’s tastes. From Caesars Palace, The Hard Rock Hotel and the Forum Shops to live animal exhibits at Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage.
But if you are one of those that are part of a Hen or Stag Do then there are some tips that could really help you to enjoy your time spent at Sin City.
Remember that you are right in the middle of the desert so temperatures can get high with averages in July hitting up to 41C and lows of 23C. Sunscreen is vital if you are going to enjoy yourself and remember to pack your bag accordingly, especially the sunglasses and hats.
Saying that, there are some nightclubs that have a stricter dress code than others so remember to pack your best clobber and try to avoid wearing very casual clothes when on a night out.
Check out the free attractions and events that are happening during your stay like The Fountains of Bellagio that has a show every half hour from 3pm to 8pm, and then every 15 minutes from 8pm to 12pm. With music to accompany this awesome sight it’s great for those must have photos. Another freebie is the exploding Volcano that takes place at The Mirage every hour after dusk, and if that doesn’t float your boat then try The Aquarium at Silverton Hotel which has more than 5,000 exotic fish in its spectacular collection.
The bar prices at various venues can run from cheap to stupidly expensive with $4 to $8 for a bottle of beer being common whilst spirits can range for $8 to $10 a shot. Be careful when buying at nightclubs and pool parties as these prices can easily double eating away at your spending money in no time at all.
Tipping is actually compulsory in Las Vegas as usually its 15% to 20% for meals and taxis. For those that like the casinos drinks are usually free but it is usual to tip your waitress at least £1.
The price for travelling to Las Vegas can vary depending on the events on at the time you want to go as well as the times of year you want to visit with probably the cheapest times for hotels being July and August and the two weeks of December after the rodeo but before people celebrate the New Year.
Of course, many of us are not going to be going to Las Vegas on a Stag or Hen Do, and even more of us can’t afford the luxury of doing so but that does not mean we cannot enjoy some of the thrills of Sin City right from the comfort of our own homes exploring online roulette games at Fruity King as well as other popular online casino games which with today’s technology are totally immersive and entertaining.
It might not be the real thing but numbers show that online casinos are one of the most popular activities people turn to when they have a few spare moments in their busy lives.
