JOIN our Trans-Siberian Railway Untamed Tour
I’m finally running a Trans Siberian Railway Tour, and it’s soon! This October in fact! I’m actually running a charity tour in Mongolia, and then visiting the Mongolia Eagle Festival – one of the most epic festivals on the planet. And since we’re in that part of the world, we though why not cross Siberia by train as an extension to the trip! So we created this!
You can either join the Mongolia trip with us (you should, it’s WILD!), and then continue directly onto this trip. Or you can book this trip as a standalone trip. Both work, just let me know.

What is The Trans Siberian Railway?
The Trans-Siberian Railway is the longest train journey on Earth.
And one of the last great overland adventures. Stretching across two continents, seven time zones, and over 9,000km of rails, it slices through the very heart of Russia, Mongolia, and beyond.
It’s more than just a train ride. It’s taiga forests, frozen lakes, vast empty steppe, and surreal sunsets from your cabin window. And, It’s sipping tea in a rickety dining car while rolling through landscapes few foreigners ever see. It’s gritty, raw, and totally unforgettable.
Hop aboard and experience the rhythm of the rails — where the journey is the destination. Welcome to Trans-Siberian Railway Unleashed.
Our Route
Even we have to draw the line somewhere, and acknowledge that maaaaaybe 7 or 8 days is too much on a train! So we’re joining at the most epic part, to cross Siberia. We arrive in Irkutsk and ride the Trans Siberian all the way to the edge of the earth, Vladivostok. Epic.
That means we get to:
- Explore Irkutsk, and beautiful Lake Baikal.
- Ride 3 nights on the Trans Siberian
- Discover ‘asian’ Vladivostok in extreme Eastern Russia, on the North Korean border
- Maybe even spot a Siberian tiger or two.
My Trans-Siberian Railway Untamed Itinerary
DAY 1: Leave Mongolia, say hello to SIBERIA!
We’ll be leaving the Mongolia Eagle Festival crew at an ungodly hour and flying directly into ancient Siberia, Irkutsk.
Touch down in Irkutsk at 3am, catch some sleep, then launch into a once-in-a-lifetime day trip to the sacred waters of Lake Baikal. The world’s oldest and deepest lake. Crisp air. Wild silence. Siberian magic. That night, board the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway and roll into the unknown.
🚆 Sleep: Irkutsk (early AM), then overnight train
NOTE: If you’re with us on the Mongolia Eagle Festival tour, this is the itinerary.
- IF YOU JOIN ONLY THE TRANS SIBERIAN TOUR, YOU CAN MEET US IN ULAAN BATAAR, OR YOU CAN MEET US IN IRKUTSK. LET US KNOW.

DAY 2:
Into the Siberian Wild
Wake to the hum of the train. All day, ride through vast taiga forests, forgotten villages, endless birch trees. Disconnect from the world. Embrace the rhythm of the rails. This is Siberia in motion. Hot tea, cold windows, deep thoughts. Day 1 of crossing Russia’s epic spine.
🚆 Sleep: On the train

DAY 3:
Seven Time Zones Deep
Another full day of motion. Watch the world blur from your cabin: wolves, rivers, maybe a remote station where no one speaks your language.
Read, reflect, stare out forever. Your mind stretches like the landscape. This is why you came — the Trans-Siberian unfolding mile by mile.
🚆 Sleep: On the train

DAY 4:
Steel and Solitude Your final full day aboard. The train slices throu
Your final full day aboard. The train slices through Russian Far East terrain, the vibe shifting with every stop. Share stories with strangers. Sip tea by the samovar. Feel the epic scale. This is not a tour — it’s a rite of passage across continents.
🚆 Sleep: On the train

DAY 5:
Vladivostok Arrival
6am — you’ve made it. Vladivostok: wild, windswept, and wonderfully defiant. Explore this Pacific port where Russia meets the East. Stand aboard a decommissioned Soviet submarine, wander city hills, breathe ocean air. After days on rails, welcome back to land — and the edge of the map.
🏨 Sleep: Vladivostok

DAY 6:
Tigers & Ghosts
Road trip to Primorsky Safari Park, home to Amur tigers and raw Russian wilderness. Then dig into the shadows of Soviet history with a tour of the NKVD’s Shelter — eerie, real, unforgettable. One moment awe, the next chills. This is Vladivostok off-script.
🏨 Sleep: Vladivostok

DAY 7:
Home Time
No more vodka.
The journey ends, but your story doesn’t. You’ve crossed Siberia, touched Lake Baikal, rolled through forgotten towns, stared into tiger eyes, and stood on Russia’s Pacific edge. No filters. No fluff. Trans-Siberian Railway Unleashed — complete. Now go tell people you’ve lived it.
