Table of contents
Seattle
Team: Seattle Seahawks
Stadium: Lumen Field
The Seahawks played their first season in 1976 and won their one and only Super Bowl championship in 2013. However, this season’s form has them looking like potential contenders according to the latest NFL odds from DraftKings.
The team plays at Lumen Field, a multi-purpose stadium that opened in 2002 and also serves as the home for the Seattle Sounders FC (MLS), and Seattle Reign FC (NWSL). The stadium holds around 68,000 fans and has a roof that is designed to retain crowd noise. In 2013, the Guinness World Record for the loudest crowd roar in an outdoor stadium was recorded there. On game day, you can walk to the game with the other Seahawks fans, thanks to the handy city center location.
Seattle itself is a beautiful city with an arty, laid-back feel that’s easy and rewarding to explore on foot. Shopping, shows, restaurants, and sightseeing are all catered for too, with plenty of things to see and do besides watching the football, including the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Chihuly Gardens, and Puget Sound.
New York
Teams: Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, New York Jets.
Stadiums: Highmark Stadium (Bills), MetLife Stadium (Giants and Jets).
New York doesn’t need any introduction; the city is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet and is packed with enough attractions to keep you busy for at least a week. Walking the streets can often feel like you’re on a movie set thanks to the many familiar sights made popular in movies. Popular tourist spots include the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square, Central Park, Broadway, and Fifth Avenue.
Sports fans are particularly spoiled here too, with 3 NFL, 2 MLB, 2 NBA, 2 MLS, and 3 NHL teams to choose from. If you like to root for the underdog, then New York is definitely the city for you when it comes to the NFL.
The Bills hold the unwanted record of appearing in a record four consecutive Super Bowls (1991–94), and losing on each occasion. They have still never won a Super Bowl. The Jest on the other hand, can boast one title to their name, even if it was all the way back in 1969.
For more recent success, you’ll have to turn to the Giants, who were a dominant force in the 1980s and ’90s. They have 4 Super Bowls to their name after victories in 1987, 1991, 2008, and 2012.
Las Vegas
Team: Las Vegas Raiders
Stadium: Allegiant Stadium
The entertainment capital of the world is bursting with casinos, live entertainment, visitor attractions and of course, NFL action. The city receives over 40 million visitors a year and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. Attractions include an Eiffel Tower replica, the Bellagio Fountain Show, the Sphere, live music, magic shows, comedy, and lots of casinos.
The Las Vegas Raiders started life as the Oakland Raiders (1960–1981, 1995–2019), before transitioning to Los Angeles (Los Angeles Raiders) between 1982–1994. They moved to Vegas in 2020. The franchise boasts 3 Super Bowl championships from 1976, 1980, and 1983.
NFL game day takes place at the 65,000-seater Allegiant Stadium. Completed in 2020, it is a highly impressive venue with wonderful facilities and a vibrant atmosphere. Handily located at the southernmost end of the Las Vegas Strip, across the street from Harry Reid International Airport, it provides easy and convenient access.
New Orleans
Team: New Orleans Saints
Stadium: Caesars Stadium
Founded in 1967, the Saints have one Super Bowl to their name, with 31-17 victory in 2009 (XLIV) against the Colts. The team plays at the renovated Caesars Superdome, which holds 76,000 raucous fans and has hosted 8 seven Super Bowls, including the most recent Super Bowl (LIX) in 2025.
The city is famous for its French influence and has a unique blend of culture, history, music, and food that you won’t find anywhere else in the US. Highlights include the historic French Quarter with its distinctive architecture and nightlife.
There’s a world-class live music scene here, too, with lots of venues offering live jazz such as Preservation Hall. Don’t forget to check out the Creole and Cajun cuisine and a stroll down Bourbon Street is a must.

As you know, blogging changed my life. I left Ireland broke, with no plan, with just a one-way ticket to Thailand
and no money. Since then, I started a blog, then a digital media company, I've made
more than $1,500,000 USD, bought 4 properties and visited (almost) every country in the world. And I did it all from my laptop as I
travel the world and live my dream. I talk about how I did it, and how you can do it too, in my COMPLETELY FREE
Ebook, all 20,000
words or so. Just finish the process by putting in your email below and I'll mail it right out to you immediately. No spam ever too, I promise!
