Attending the 2028 LA Olympics, here’s how to do it right
The 2028 Olympic Games have been confirmed to be held in Los Angeles, and after a successful 2024 Paris Games, there will be many who will already be looking forward to the next edition of the event. The 2024 Olympics games, held in the city of love, Paris was a big success boasting over 32 million new followers on their social media channels during the event, which is more than triple the growth seen during the Tokyo Olympics of 2020.
The games continue to have an inspirational appeal and attraction to them, with many becoming inspired by what some of the athletes can achieve. With each edition of the event, newer sports are included, which provides greater exposure and even gets the next generation of potential future athletes to begin their quest in the sport and participate.
The Olympics is a truly global event, with many getting involved in numerous ways. In addition to the greater exposure that is obtained and new sports viewing experiences, some have found that the event is a great way for them to engage in sports betting. It’s possible to find tools and resources that can be used to help potentially increase and maximize winning opportunities, with an odds calculator and others that can provide an insight into the value that is on offer. With exposure to them following the Games, they may decide to use them for other regular sporting events as they continue to work in the same way.
How to enjoy the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles
Given the excitement that has been experienced, and the fact that Los Angeles is considered a once-in-a-lifetime city of dreams for many to try and visit, the 2028 Games certainly provides those with a unique opportunity to try and enjoy everything it brings.
If you’re heading there, you’ll need to think of several different aspects to make sure you get it right. It’s undeniably going to be expensive and something that will probably require an individual to save everything they have. There will be numerous costs that will be incurred, and that’s just aside to a ticket to a sporting event.
You’ll need to try to book your flights as early as possible to try and find them as cheap as possible. Airlines will already know about the Games, so it’s likely prices will already be quite high at this advanced stage. Use a comparison site to help you find the best deals, but there won’t be a “cheap” option, at least directly to LAX over these dates.
You’ll also need to ensure you have accommodation where you can stay for the duration of your time at the Games. It can be cheaper to stay out of the city, but you’ll incur travel costs, such as using public transport or hailing a cab. If you stay in the city, you’ll have to pay a premium. You’ll need to work out what is affordable and determine whether the experience is worth the total expenditure.
You may be able to find travel and accommodation (as well as food, events, etc.) available in a package deal with an operator, especially those that specialise in sports-themed trips. These may be the best ways to enjoy the 2028 Olympics.
Make sure you’re prepared
Attending the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is going to be a very expensive affair, but it could be a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity. The best way to be prepared is to plan well ahead and try to get things sorted out as soon as possible.
The prices are only likely to increase the closer we get to the event, while demand is likely to increase at the same time. If you leave it too late, you could miss out, either financially or in a physical capacity.
