It is a beautiful and well-planned park with a water fountain inside. There is also a hose to wash off moody paws. Upcountry Dog Park is open everyday from 7 am to 7 pm. 

There are lots of water bowls, shades and benches here, with a wide area for your pup to run around leash-free.

Also known as Ulu La’au meaning Garden of Trees. Waimea Nature Park is a 10 acre peaceful dog park in the middle of Waimea. Open to the public 7 am to 5;30 pm everyday of the week. You can walk your dog, have a picnic, and enjoy nature. 

It is maintained by Waimea Outdoor Circle, a local volunteer group and so you are expected to use the facility responsibly to ensure nature is preserved in the best condition.
