The United Arab Emirates (or UAE) stands out as one of the most popular destinations for luxury tourists. Its massive skyscrapers and golden sand deserts make it one of the hidden gems of the world. If you’re in Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is an architectural masterpiece that you’ll want to visit. It boasts 82 domes, more than 1000 columns, and a chandelier that features countless numbers of Swarovski crystals that ooze absolute luxury. Modern opulence and traditional design come together here at a place that may be considered one of the most visited mosques in the Islamic world. Even if you are non-Muslim, you can still visit this place and take part in a guided tour to learn the history of the place.

Desert glamping is perhaps one of the fastest-growing activities among luxury travelers, and places like Qasr Al Sarab or Al Maha may be some of the best places to camp out in the desert.
Spend Time On The Beaches
Yes, the UAE has some awesome-looking beaches that are situated among the pristine waters. These include Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, both of which are quiet places where you can escape to if you want to spend the day away from the hustle and bustle of Abu Dhabi or Dubai. You can go on a snorkeling adventure in the Gulf of Oman or visit one of the beachside spas where you can get a massage and a luxury treatment that may rival the spas you’ve visited in the past.
Shopping At World-Class Shopping Malls
The Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates is home to world-class shopping experiences like no other. Did you know that the Mall of the Emirates has its own indoor ski slope? Maybe before or after you shop at one of the many luxury fashion stores, you could “hit the slopes”. Other places in the UAE that you might want to check out include the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, which is based on a traditional Arab marketplace that has well-lit walkways, luxury boutiques, and much more for an unforgettable luxury experience that is unmatched compared to other travel destinations.
