When some people think of amazing beaches they envision far-off locales. Of course, there are incredible beaches all over the world, but we have some that are worth bragging about right here in the United States. If you’re a beach-lover, you’ll want to give these locations a second look!

1. La Jolla Shores Park

We’re starting out with a stunner on the West Coast. This beach near San Diego has a secluded feel thanks to sandstone cliffs that surround it. The water is well-known for being gentle, which makes it perfect for all kinds of watersports, as well as families who want to play in the surf.

2. Kitty Hawk Beach

A part of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, Kitty Hawk beach is considered the best of them all. You didn’t think you’d get all the way through this list without having Hawaii show up, did you? This bay on the island of Oahu used to be a volcanic crater, but now it’s one of the most beautiful spots in the country, as well as being a mecca for snorkeling enthusiasts.

Best time of year to visit: All year round.

No list of the best beaches would be complete without this Siesta Key, Florida stunner. It’s not only the best beach in the country, it’s also considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Turquoise water and white powder sand should move this beach to the top of your “must-see” list!
