Cancun Itinerary

Located on the eastern side of Mexico and facing the Caribbean Sea, Cancun is one of the most renowned party destinations in the world. Filled with the hottest bars and beaches, this white sand paradise is surrounded by lush greenery, mysterious cultural wonders, and vibrant wildlife.

Cancun has so many exciting attractions for you to choose from and explore. If you are planning to see most of them in two days, here is how you can do it:

Day 1

Parasailing

Soar above Cancun’s pleasant beaches and warm water on an exhilarating parasailing excursion. The flight time normally lasts about 15 minutes and you will be enjoying the complete freedom of floating over the ocean, enjoying the spectacular scenery of this popular destination.

Surfing

Cancun’s beaches have plenty of activities to do and surfing is undoubtedly the most popular one. If you are a beginner, there are special 90-minute surf lessons available from experienced American surf instructors. If you have a good budget, then you can go on private sailing trips too.

MUSA Underwater Museum

You cannot leave Cancun without diving. There are plenty of epic activities associated with diving. The MUSA underwater museum is truly unique and epic. It is sure to offer you some of the most spectacular diving experiences in the world. You can select from a range of pricing levels.

Captain Hook

There is no other way to end a busy day than the 3-hour Captain Hook dinner cruise. Have a wonderful gourmet dinner, while enjoying pirate tales, entertainment, and a live-action sea battle. You can enjoy a wonderful open bar, air-conditioned indoor seating, and an open-air dance floor.

Day 2

Chichen Itza

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the ruins of Chichen Itza are one of the famous Mayan archaeological sites you will find in Cancun. If you visit early in the morning, there will be less crowd and you will be able to enjoy the epic structure better. Other popular archaeological sites that you can visit include El Meco, Coba Ruins, and El Rey Ruins. Cancun to Chichen Itza is a long morning, but it’s worth it to check out one of the 7 wonders of the world on your Cancun Itinerary.

Mercado 28

Your trip to Cancun will not be complete without visiting Mercado 28, or Market 28. It is the most lively shopping market in the territory. You can enjoy a wide range of local goods, flavors, and tons of color. You will surely find a lot of wonderful things for sale at surprisingly reasonable prices (But, you may have to do some negotiation).

Exploring Cenotes

Cenotes can be considered as the gems of Cancun. These natural pools are oftentimes seen in a cave or an underground setting. If you are looking for these adventurous excursions, then you can easily book a cenote tour from your hotel or online.

Moonlight Snorkeling

Ever thought of going underwater during the moonlight? Here is an opportunity to find out. The evening snorkeling tour in Cancun allows you to discover and explore a different underwater world that you will never see if you are snorkeling during the day.

Night at Coco Bongo

Coco Bongo is not the usual nightclub you would expect. Elaborate musical performances, flying acrobats, and the ultimate party atmosphere are sure to give you a night to remember. The lines can be really long, so it is better if you buy tickets online in advance.
