How To Spend A Weekend In Vegas
Las Vegas is a place that is on everyone’s bucket list – if it isn’t on yours then you need to add it right now! Sin City has so much to see and do, regardless of what you’re into you will never ever get bored.
I have been lucky enough to visit Vegas on several occasions; on a stag party, with my family and when I was traveling solo. Having been on different types of trips to this awesome city puts me in the position to advise you guys on what you should do when you’re there.
I think a weekend is long enough to stay in Vegas, it can be quite overwhelming so 2-3 days is ideal. Here are some of the best things you can do when you hit Sin City.
Catch A Show
There’s no better place on the planet to watch a show than Vegas – it’s one of the main reasons for people choosing to visit the city. Whatever you like Vegas has it – from comedy, music, opera and the stunning Cirque de Soleil. One of the biggest shows at the moment is the Blue Man Group, a musical performance that has been wowing crowds for years. Make sure you book your tickets in advance because the best seats will sell out quick and you don’t want to be paying over the odds from a ticket tout on the street.
Have A Flutter
Is it really a trip to Vegas if you don’t hit the casinos? Even if you’re not into gambling you need to have at least one hand of blackjack, a spin of roulette or a few dollars on the slot machines. The Online provider PartyCasino got me interested in roulette, so on my first visit I had to have a few bets on red or black. Just walking through the casinos is an experience in itself, the atmosphere and the interesting characters you see make for a great evening.
The Grand Canyon
We’ve all heard or seen pictures of The Grand Canyon, so when you’re in Vegas you really do need to check out this breathtaking creation of nature. There are plenty of tours to choose from, if you want to splash out then opt for a helicopter ride to get the best view possible. As well as the views you can also check out some interestitng Native American sites and plenty of historic architecture.
Have you been to Vegas? If so, I’d love to hear all about your tips, tales and experiences. I think it’s great when we as a travel community can share first hand experiences to help others plan the best trip possible. All you have to do is pop your thoughts in the comment section below, thanks for sharing guys I’m looking forward to reading everything you have to share.
