SuperSpaceTimeCube Bangkok Review: A Futuristic Family Adventure with Jaa, and Aidan
If you’d told me that my wife, our one-year-old son, and I would spend a Saturday morning exploring holographic dreamscapes and LED tunnels in the basement of a Bangkok mall, I’d have laughed. But after visiting SuperSpaceTimeCube at Seacon Bangkae, I can genuinely say this place is an unexpected gem and an amazing experience for both families and tech-loving adults. So let’s check out my SuperSpaceTimeCube Bangkok Review.
This review is based on our visit as a family of three — and yes, even baby Aidan had his mind blown (or at least giggled a lot). There are so many things to do in Bangkok, and this is one of the best to do with kids.

Getting There & Practical Info
SuperSpaceTimeCube is located in Seacon Bangkae, a large shopping centre on Petchkasem Road in western Bangkok. It’s tucked away on Floor B, Area B43, but don’t let the mall location fool you — this isn’t just a shopping centre sideshow.
We took the MRT to Phasi Charoen Station, then grabbed a quick taxi to the mall. If you’re coming from central Bangkok, that’s probably your easiest route. Alternatively, you can go to Bang Wa BTS and transfer. Parking is free if you’re driving.

Opening Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 10:30 AM – 9:30 PM
- Weekends: 10:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Accessibility: SuperSpaceTimeCube is stroller-friendly and accessible for people with disabilities — though be aware there’s no lift access in some spots, so light gear and patience help.

Our Experience
Entering the Portal
As soon as we walked through the LED-lit tunnel entrance, we knew this wasn’t your average family attraction. The lighting pulses, the soundtrack hums, and the colours feel straight out of a sci-fi film. Even Jaa, who’s normally more into quiet cafes than neon art, was impressed. Aidan couldn’t stop pointing and laughing.
720° Virtual Space
The centrepiece is the 720-degree holographic room. No headsets. No screens. Just light and motion wrapped around you. One minute you’re floating in space, the next you’re underwater with whales. It’s fully immersive and very, very cool. Aidan stood on the glass floor staring upward, transfixed by a spinning galaxy.
Science Playground
This was a surprise hit. The kids’ area is packed with interactive exhibits — motion sensors, projection games, basic physics toys, and climbing areas. Aidan’s a bit small for most of it, but older kids were having the time of their lives.
Digital Art, Mirror Mazes & More
SuperSpaceTimeCube isn’t just for kids. As a travel blogger who’s seen more than his fair share of “interactive museums,” I was genuinely impressed by the quality here. Mirror rooms, digital installations, and sensory corridors like the “Staircase of Dreams” felt polished, not gimmicky.
The “Ocean of Stars” room was particularly stunning — waves of light and sound creating an atmosphere you’d expect in Tokyo or Seoul.

Tips from a Dad Who Survived It
- Plan 2–3 hours: Enough to enjoy everything without rushing.
- Bring a camera: Every room is Instagram-worthy.
- Book online: Cheaper, faster, easier.
- Don’t skip the VR zone: It’s a separate ticket but worth the extra few baht if you enjoy immersive tech.
- Snack first: There’s no café inside SuperSpaceTimeCube, but plenty of food options upstairs at Seacon.
Final Verdict: Worth It?
Absolutely. SuperSpaceTimeCube hits that sweet spot between education, entertainment, and digital art. It’s Bangkok’s answer to Singapore’s ArtScience Museum — but more fun and more affordable.
Whether you’re travelling with kids or just looking for something futuristic and unique in Bangkok, this is well worth the journey to the other side of town.
Johnny, Jaa, and Aidan approved.
