Hua Hin Marriott Review, Thailand

Anyone I know that has ever been to Thailand tells me that it’s one of their favourite countries for both adventure and leisure travel. It’s true. It’s got a little something for everyone from the wild beach parties on Koh Phi Phi to the quiet tranquility of the northern hills, there’s something to suit every taste and every budget in this varied and beautiful country.

On one of my recent trips around Thailand I stay at the Marriott in the beautiful beach town of Hua Hin. The Marriott in Hua Hin didn’t disappoint and it’s safe to say it’s going to become my go-to place in Hua Hin whenever I come back. Here’s my personal experience with the Marriott and why you should check it out if you’re ever in Hua Hin.

Rooms

The rooms at the Hua Hin Marriott are amazingly beautiful with clean bedding, comfortable pillows and subtle decor that gives it an elegant, classic touch. Each room has a spacious balcony which is the perfect place to have a coffee in the morning while reading the newspaper or catching up on emails. Views from the rooms depend on your room location but can be a garden, pool or sea view, each with their own benefit. The option of having breakfast served in your room means that you can relax in the mornings without having to rush down to meet a breakfast deadline as with some hotels.

The bathroom has all modern and glistening amenities with shower facilities and towels provided. Hot water is plentiful and the water pressure was excellent. It’s the perfect way to end a long day of exploring markets, beaches or just whiling away the hours poolside in the sun.

Facilities

The Hua Hin Marriott has some of the best facilities I’ve seen in a hotel.

It has five swimming pools and five restaurants on site including a coffee house serving up all different types of coffees from Americanos to cappuccinos and more. The restaurants cater to almost every diet preference, so you’ll have no issue finding the perfect meal for you.

Spa & Gym

There’s an on site spa offering all sorts of different treatments to help soothe your  body and soul. It’s a great way to treat yourself if you’re on a special holiday or just because. A fitness centre will also ensure you don’t lose a day in your workout routine, so you can stay in tip top shape throughout your holiday and beyond

Pools

With numerous sunny areas to  just kick back and relax, and easy access to the beach, Hua Hin Marriott is one of the perfect places to bring children of all ages. The hotel specifically caters to children as well, including with child-specific swimming pools and specially made meals. The buffet is also family friendly, so you needn’t worry if your children will be happy at this particular hotel.

There are a number of other great facilities on site including laundry, ticket services and other concierge service. A newspaper service also ensures you stay on top of the current events around the world while business services help anyone in the area for work continue to get things done.

Location

Set only a few minutes walk from the beachfront in the adorable coastal village of Hua Hin, the Hua Hin Marriott is central and walking distance to major tourist sites, markets, the night markets and shops.

You don’t need a car rental if you stay here.

PRICE?

Great value at around $200 a night for a 5* hotel

Why I Recommend The Marriott At Hua Hin

I absolutely loved this slice of heaven in Hua Hin. Not only is it perfect for couples, families or single travellers, but it offers up a real taste of luxury that you just don’t get with other hotels. This particular Marriott really goes above and beyond to make your stay extra special, and with all the little add ons and extra services they provide, it’s easily my favourite Marriott.
