When I made my booking for The Grange St. Pauls Hotel I was very excited, after taking a look on their website and seeing the place I could not wait to arrive. To say that the hotel lives up to it’s luxury 5 star status would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in I knew that I was going to have a great time, it looks magnificent from the outside but when you walk through it’s doors you instantly start to feel special. If you are heading to London soon then you should definitely be taking a look at this hotel, it is ideally located and has every facility you need to make sure that your stay is perfect. The next time I’m in London I will be checking in to the Grange.
It has 433 rooms, a variety of bars and restaurants, a health and fitness club, swimming pool and one of the most stunning spas that I have seen. My room was spacious and luxurious, the bed was so good that I didn’t want to get up in the morning. I can tell you that I was very glad that I did get up in time for breakfast! The food at breakfast can only be described as awesome, there is something there that will suit every taste. Whether you are looking for a healthy option, a quick bite on the way to an important meeting or a hearty breakfast before you head out to explore London, you will find it all on offer. It is not just the food but the staff as well, their attitude makes you feel comfortable and at ease. At no point did I ever feel rushed to eat up, I sat there, ate the tasty breakfast checking my emails and relaxing. In total there are five restaurants, you will be able to find Japanese food and International cuisine on offer. If you arrive late after a long flight and need nightcap then the 24 hour bar will make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for.
One of my favourite things about the hotel is the location, you are only 100 meters from St Paul’s so you really couldn’t find a more convenient place to stay. It is always great waking up in a hotel knowing that you will not have to spend time on public transport to reach all of the main sites and attractions, this makes your whole trip a much more relaxing affair. The Grange is within easy reach of St Paul’s Cathedral, The Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and a number of popular shops. Staying here means that you are right in the centre of the action, it is easy for you to pop back to the hotel to grab a quick shower before heading out for dinner, you are so central that there will be no rushing around at all!
I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, I have visited London many times but have never been as impressed as I was with The Grange. The staff deserve special mention, nothing was too big or too small for them to deal with, they were also extremely helpful when it came to suggestions about what to see and do. I had a fantastic time and will be back again very soon indeed!
