Whether you are looking to relax and soak up the weather, or to get out and about, you are free to do as you please. Maspalomas
Maspalomas beach is one of the most famous areas on Gran Canaria. It is filled with beautiful golden sand, sand dunes and stunning views of the island’s mountainous landscape. It is the largest beach on the island and is popular with couples, families and friends alike. There are plenty of kiosks selling refreshments should you wish to freshen up with lunch or a snack or drink throughout the day.
Playa del Inglés
Playa del Inglés is another of the most popular beaches in Gran Canaria. It has everything from golden sand to a variety of water sports should this be something you are interested in. You can go scuba diving, hire a jet ski or rent out a pedalo for the afternoon where you can jump into the crystal clear waters for a snorkel. There are many restaurants, bars and shops along the beachfront, providing the perfect base for you to spend both the day and night.
Las Canteras
Las Canteras is a beach located in the capital city of Las Palmas and is well connected no matter where you are staying on the island. With its beautiful golden sand and calm waters, it is popular for those looking to relax, swim and sunbathe throughout the day. There are a range of sunbeds available to hire, plenty of shops and restaurants and sports equipment if you want to head into the sea for some fun!
Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria
Puerto Rico is known for being one of the biggest sun traps on the island and is a beautiful beach spot to spend your days. While it is not the biggest beach on the island it is still beautiful and has plenty of things to do. Relax on the sunbeds, swim in the sea and enjoy the beachfront restaurants and bars that are nearby – you won’t be disappointed!
