Spain: Europe’s best tourist destination
Spain is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, and one of the most visited countries in the world, millions of people flock there each year to enjoy a fantastic holiday.
There are so many great places to visit and fantastic things to do it is no wonder why the country is an increasingly popular choice amongst tourists. One of the best things about taking a holiday in Spain is the superb accommodation that is on offer, if you are looking for something special there are amazing villas to stay in. If you want to stay in a breathtaking villa in Spain then there are endless deals available.
I have been lucky enough to visit Spain many times, from 3 days in Murcia to weekends in Barcelona on a budget, it never ever fails to impress me. Here are my favourite things about the country and the reasons why I keep going back for more:
If you are heading to Spain then I strongly advise you to leave any diet you are on at the airport. The cuisine over there is truly fantastic and some of the best you will ever taste. It would be a crime not to eat as much as possible, so forget the diet and try as many local dishes as you possibly can. Tapas is one of the most famous the of cuisine to come out of Spain and the people take pride in their tapas. If you are staying near the coast then Paella is a must try dish, seafood paella is one of the best dishes to every come out of Spain.
We all love hitting the beach to soak up the sun. And with a luxury holiday in Spain, you’ll have some of the best beaches in the world. There are beaches to suit every taste, from chilled-out beaches to ones that are full of water sport activities. In nearly every major tourist hub you will be able to enjoy windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, and jet skiing. Of course if you prefer to enjoy peace and quiet then you will be able to stroll down to one of the quieter beaches, lay down, sun bathe and forget about all of the stresses back home.
It is hard to beat the weather that the Mediterranean gives us. There are over three hundred days a year of sunshine, this fact means that the rest of us from Europe are extremely jealous that we don’t get such fantastic weather all year round. It is one of the main reasons that people head straight to the Spanish coast, it rarely has bad weather. The weather is around 18 to 30 degrees throughout the year. If you want a tan then you better head to Spain as soon as possible.
