The three major caves in the region are Lake Cave, Mammoth Cave and Jewel Cave, which are open for public tours. As a result many vineyard shave sprung up around the region and today is the largest economic industry in the region. There are approximately 150 vintners in operation, primarily niche operations. Of course, most wineries in the area will offer tours, and many go all out with accompanying restaurants, markets, art galleries and shops selling various gifts.
