My 2026 Group Trips (Mauritania, Papua New Guinea, Turkmenistan, Komodo, The 4 ‘Stans AND MORE)

I run group trips for people who don’t normally like ‘group trips’. And most of my friends these days come directly from these trips! If I ever retire, or win the lottery, these trips will never stop. Absolute highlights of my year, my life. Everything. Come join me!

So, 2026 is here and it’s time to PLAN YOUR TRAVELS. Each year, i think about my plans and goals for the 12 months ahead, and I try to make sure Iet a year pass me by without at least trying to chase some of my dreams. So let me help you!

Make 2026 a year when you have an adventure that you never thought you’d do. Meet some epic new friends, and travel with me to places that most people have never heard of it. I have a few different types of trips these days:

  1. Charity trips. These are trips through my Mudita Adventures foundation. We’ve donated over a quarter of a million USD from these trips. Building playgrounds, water pumps, etc where you guys join us, we do a ‘give back’ project, then explore the country.
  2. Trips you don’t tell your mum about. These are the trips to Libya, the Iron ore train in Mauritania, Tribes in Papua New Guinea. A litle scary BUT EPIC!
  3. Challenging trips. The ultramarathon in the Sahara, the ultra cycle in Turkmenistan, climbing Europe’s highest mountain, and Papua New Guinea’s highest peak. EVERYONE CAN DO THESE. Sometimes we just need a little nudge. I’m that nudge.

So without further ado, let’s have a look at my 2026 group tours this year. Starting next month!

February, 2026

Borneo and Brunei;

One of my charity trips. We help refurbish a school. Visit Brunei, one Asia’s least visited countries, then spend a week exploring the jungles of Borneo and spotting Orangutans. There’s also an extension available to explore Sumatra, in Indonesia to.

Libya;

What can I say. After witnessing a shoot-out in my 2025 group tour there, this isn’t for everyone! But it’s wild. A country that’s almost a failed state. Ancient Roman ruins, the true Sahara desert, Tripoli. Trip starts in Libya on Feb 9. It’s sold out.

The coldest place on earth. Siberia and Oymyakon.

My bucket list trip. To visit the coldest place on earth is Proper expedition travel. We have 1 spot left, and 13 of us going. Yakutsk, frozen rivers and on to the depths of Siberia in winter. This is legit. There is also a Moscow Extension. A short add on after Siberia for those who want Red Square, metro stations and vodka.

Climb Mount Wilhelm, Papua New Guinea;

Climb Papua New Guinea’s highest mountain. Remote, wild and seriously underrated. This wasn’t a ‘real’ group tour. I’m running a trip to PNG in May to stay with the tribes, and I figured I’ll climb Mt Wilhelm myself before hand. I’ve done all the work organising it, so if anyone wants to join, they’re welcome. Currently just 3 of us!

  • Dates and Price: April 26-30, $2099

Papua New Guinea Tribes.

ANOTHER BUCKET LIST ITEM FOR ME! I traveled to PNG during my journey to every country, but I didn’t get to see some of the coolest tribes as i couldn’t afford it. So I’m back, older and less broke! Villages, culture, jungle and raw travel at its best. I can’t wait to see the skeleton tribe especially.

Group trip to The 2 least visited countries in the world. Nauru and Tuvalu.

Not confirmed, but this week or next it will be. I’m in the region anyway, due to the PNG trip. So why not visit the 2 LEAST VISITED COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD! Tiny Pacific nations that almost nobody visits. Dates still flexible but will probably be May 9-15, give or take a couple of days.

  • Dates and Price: TBC. Straight after the PNG trip. Probably May 9-15.

CLIMB EUROPE’S HIGHEST MOUNTAIN, Mount Elbrus.

I’m going back to climb one of the 7 summits, Europe’s highest mountain in Russia. Full expedition with acclimatisation. We already have 6 people, come and join us! (I also might have a group climb of Mont Blanc right after, not sure yet).

Komodo and East Timor.

3rd of our charity trips. We once build a library in Bali, and we’re going back to restock it and spruce it up. Then it’s the Komodo Dragons, diving and one of the least visited countries in Southeast Asia, East Timor.

Turkmenistan Highway to Hell Ultracycle;

My speciality! The HIGHWAY TO HELL ULTRACYCLE. The perfect entry level into hardcore experiences. 200 mile/300km cycle in Turkmenistan, from Ashgabat to the the Gates of Hell. One of my flagship events. If you want to do epic things, this is a great start.

Turkmenistan & The Gates of Hell.

For those not cycling, you can come at the same time as our cycle and see the Gates of Hell. Ride an old soviet night train to the Caspian sea, check out the canyon, and explore the weirdest country in the region.

The finishing point of our ultracycle is the iconic Gates of Hell, Turkmenistan

Mongolia & the Eagle Festival.

My dream trip last year, so we’re doing it again! The 4th charity trip of the year, where we fund running water and functioning toilets for communites in Ulaan Bataar, then it’s all Vast landscapes, nomads and proper adventure travel. The icon Eagle Festival in rural western Mongolia is a sight to behold.

The Eye of the Sahara Ultramarathon

3 ultramarathons in 3 days, from the Eye of the Sahara, to civilisations. 100 miles/160km. 2 things to note. ANYONE CAN HONESTLY DO THIS. We’ve had people walk the whole thing. And still make it. AND SECONDLY, this will change your life. Push yourself, train, commit, suffer, and love yourself a little more for the rest of your life. Honestly.

Mauritania and the Iron Ore Train

Now officially not allowed, but I know a guy who knows a guy… 100% success rate with the Iron Ore train for over 150 tourists! This year’s itinerary is even better, now including a roadtrip out to the iconic Eye of the Sahara!

Thoughts on my 2026 group trips?

Woaaah that’s a lot of adventure. I know it all sounds crazy, but give it a shot. You’ll meet new friends for life, and have adventures you’ll talk about for the rest of your life. That’s what life is all about. Burning money down the pub, or on another iPhone. Forget it. Create memories that you’ll never lose.

If budgets are an issue, the Turkmenistan trip, for example is ($1800ish /1400GBP), going all the way up to $5k is from the Papua New Guinea trip (pricey I know, but when else do you get to hang out with the freaking SKELETON TRIBE!). I’ll personally be running all the adventure trips, and depending how it goes with my TV Show and new baby, hopefully some of the charity ones too.

If you have any questions about the trips, DM me on instagram.com/onestep4ward, or email me. Hopefully I’ll be meeting some of you guys throughout 2026.

Some 2025 group trip pics for my memories, love you guys!
