Whether you’re flying in style on a private jet or heading to a vacation destination via commercial airlines, or even a car or public transportation, there’s a lot to consider ahead of time when traveling. Most people prefer to stick within a certain budget, planning a vacation with a specific amount to spend on travel along with any accessories or essentials. Then there’s the task of figuring out how long the vacation will be and what you most desire to see and do during your time away from home. Before you head off for the trip, it’s a good idea to know exactly where you want to go and what you are seeking in a vacation.

If you’re looking for a luxurious destination, you’ve probably considered places such as the warm and sunny Caribbean or even exotic European settings. Whether you’ve been there before but want to try something new or are just curious about your other options, there are several other unexpected places to find luxury. These spots might include the Valley of Ten Peaks in Alberta, Canada, where the smallest peak, Mount Perren, stands just over 10, 000 feet in elevation. Then there’s Tunnel of Love in Kleven, Ukraine, a destination with entangled trees that inspires romance. Another option is the town of Branson, Missouri. Here you’ll find plenty of activities and entertainment, whether your travel plans involve the entire family or just yourself. It’s probably not the first destination that comes to mind when you think of a luxury-oriented destination, but Branson has a generous mix of offerings. For example, you can head to Silver Dollar City, one of the world’s top 10 theme parks, or visit one of the many relaxing spas and resorts. The town also boasts three pristine lakes along with the natural beauty of the surrounding Ozark Mountains.

Another highlight of Branson is its flexibility in terms of lodging. While it offers numerous hotels, motels, and resorts, a popular choice among travelers seeking a bit more flexibility is a  Welk Timeshare. Depending on your specific interests, you can find a timeshare in close proximity to some of the top attractions, such as Branson’s water park, which offers white water rafting, along with the Titanic Museum, the world’s largest Titanic museum, along with Branson Landing for plenty of shopping, dining, and fun. There’s also the Dinosaur Museum, with life-sized dinosaurs, and the Butterfly Place, featuring a garden with thousands of butterflies.

In order to get a more detailed glimpse of the surrounding area, you might also enjoy taking a  tour of a timeshare such as the Welk. These tours provide an inside look at Branson’s unique history and culture, particularly through its museums. You can also take part in various shopping opportunities within Branson’s numerous outlet stores, galleries, boutiques, and various shops. Some tours may even bring you to the Ozark Mountains. If you go to the mountains between the middle of September through November, embark on a self-guided fall foliage driving tour in the area or enjoy a helicopter, train, boat, or plane tour. Read more about why I think it’s time to get a timeshare.
