Rafting refers to a white water rafting, nothing to do with movie like escapes from deserted islands. White water rafting uses an inflatable boat, protective equipment and it is an activity that will get your adrenalin pumping.

White water rafting is great activity on holidays with a love one, group of friends or coworkers. A love one will hold on for a dear life and will love you more afterward, it will strengthen friendships as you will feel like you have accomplished something cool but yet daring with your crew and with co workers it will force you to work as a team.

Some people confuse rafting for a floating on the river and drinking beer, and other think it is too dangerous try. The truth is in the middle. White water rafting is actually safe, however you need to listen to your skipper (captain of the your inflatable boat), you have to wear the wetsuit (for cold rivers), a life jacket and the helmet is a must. You really shouldn’t drink before, or during the trip as that can be a way to get yourself and your team in danger. However people that handle their liquor, can have a beer or 2 before or during the stops.

There are 3 things you need to be able to do, hold onto your boat, paddle (don’t need prior experience for this) and listen to your skipper. If you can do this, you will do just fine on white water rafting.

Pro tips: put on sunscreen, don’t wear clothes that soaks water (polyester ok, avoid cotton), put GoPro camera on the boat or someone’s helmet, wear wet shoes or any shoes, no flip-flops.

There is a white water classification , which marks different point on the river on the scale from 1 – the safest, to 5 or even 6 as the most dangerous. Some of the best places for rafting are:
