8 Great Nightlife Activities to Do in Toronto

Toronto-at-Night

For any major city to be considered a good vacation destination, it must offer two things. First, there has to be access to things the family can do during the day. Family activities can usually be covered by cities offering access to monuments/museums, parks, amusement parks, zoos, and major shopping centers.

Second, there has to be access to adult activities for the benefit of parents who want to get away from the kids at night. Adults on vacation need a little nightlife in return for the money they are expected to spend during the day.

By most accounts, Toronto in Ontario, Canada is a good vacation destination for families and adults. The following information will focus on the best Toronto nightlife activities available for adults.

Casino Gambling

It’s not uncommon for retail casino resorts to be located in or near major metropolitan areas. After all, casinos need to be where the action is, which is usually close to vacation destinations in major cities like Toronto.

In recent years, Toronto has established a robust casino and resort community. A search for retail casinos in and around Toronto will be a fruitful search. In fact, there are several quality casinos within driving distance of the downtown Toronto area. Here is a peek at a few of the area’s best retail casino options.

By the way, Toronto visitors always have access to no deposit bonus codes for Canadians via available offshore online casinos.

Great Canadian Casino Resort Canada

As the newest and largest retail casino in the Toronto area, the Great Canadian Casino Resort Canada deserves a place at the top of this list. This $1 billion gambling facility was opened to the public in June of 2023.

Located in close proximity to the popular Woodbine Race Course in Etobicoke (20 miles west of Toronto), this casino covers an astonishing 328,000+ space of gambling area. That makes this the largest casino in Canada and could well make it the largest casino in North America. Paying attention Las Vegas?

The casino features 4,800+ slots, 145 table games, casual and fine dining restaurants, snack bars, lounges, and first-class live entertainment.

At nighttime, adults can visit the Fallsview Casino Resort (a couple of hours from Toronto), which features 374 rooms, a SPA, a live entertainment venue, and a 200,000 sq ft. gambling area filled with a poker room, 130+ gaming tables, and 3,000+ slots and video poker machines.

Other Adult Nightlife Activities in Toronto

Not everyone fancies themselves as gamblers. That’s not a problem in the Toronto area as the city has a lot more in the way of adult entertainment than casino gambling. Here are a few other nightlife options in Toronto.

Dancing at the Royal Ontario Museum

If dancing in a museum sounds strange, well, it is strange. However, that is exactly what happens every Friday night at the Royal Ontario Museum.

With a focus on the arts, adult museum-goers get a chance to dance among the dinosaurs every Friday night. Dancing, food, and drink are available from 7:30 pm until closing at 11:30 pm. The venue features live entertainment and music spun by some of the best DJs in the region.

The Comedy Bar

After a hectic day of sightseeing, some adults want to settle in, have a drink, and laugh a little. All of that is available nightly at the Comedy Bar. The venue has two separate stages and over 150 shows each week. While sipping their favorite cocktails, customers can enjoy improv sketches and some of the best comedic talent in North America.

Track and Field

No, this has nothing to do with running sprints or pole vaulting. Track and Field is an adult entertainment venue for bar customers who want to do more than sit in a bar and listen to music. At Track and Field, customers are invited to drink their favorite cocktails while playing games like shuffleboard, bocce ball on real bocce lanes, and the Ontario-invented table game of crokinole.

Bambi’s

Dancers and drinkers can visit Bambi’s for the best in after-dark entertainment. This Toronto hotspot is located at Dundas and Dovercourt. The venue features electronic sounds from top DJs. If guests want a little quiet time between dances, they can visit the neighborhood bar Mr. Flamingo, which is located upstairs from Bambi’s.
