Without further ado, here are our choices for the best hikes in Asia in 2021. Get ready to create new travelling plans!

Table of Contents

Bhutan

Trekking in Bhutan is one of the best choices you can make. The beautiful scenery of this country will keep you coming back to it. Give Bhutan only two days, and it can change your life. If you are looking for a challenge, you can visit the Snowman Trek. The Druk Path trek, Tigers best bhutan trek and the Chomolhari trek are great choices as well. The hikes they provide are excellent for photo shots!

Additionally, if you decide to hang around the villages and cities, you will be stunned by various festivals. Try to visit at least some of them as they are worth the trouble.

What is more, if you are looking for a quiet place for yourself, Bhutan is perfect. It is still not a well-known tourism destination, so you will not find any crowds on the trail. This way, you can ensure that your hike to the summit will not be disturbed even if you come when the best time to visit Bhutan.

Malaysia

Climbing Mt Kinabalu, the main attraction of Kinabalu National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is not the only thing worth seeing in Malaysia. Indeed, this country located in Southeast Asia has a lot to offer. For example, Cameron Highlands is a place often visited by hikers. Lush green trails that can be found in this place and its cool climate are high points worth noting.

Other points in this country you should add to your travel list are Bishop Trail and Rainbow Falls. If you would like to traverse through some forest, look no further than trails in Malaysia. Then visit the Perhentian islands to relax after.

Indonesia

Indonesia is a land full of wonders. It is located in Southeast Asia, much like Malaysia. With its gorgeous beaches and treks, it can become your favourite place to visit.

The turquoise waters of Segara Anak lake and the dangerous slopes when you undertake trekking Mount Rinjani are the two things that gather great attention from hikers. The former being a crater lake and the latter being the active volcano, they beautifully complete each other.  Additionally, the hike to Mount Rinjani’s summit can be an adventure that takes up to three days! However, when you reach its highest point at 3,726 meters, you will be shocked by the view. Do not forget to get the photo for your collection!

Nepal

Nepal seems like the most popular choice for any adventure that involves climbing. However, its popularity is not a coincidence. After all, the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, is located there. Even the trek to the Everest Base Camp can be quite fascinating! And seeing the snow-capped peak of Mount Everest up close is for sure something to remember.

Another popular trekking option is the Annapurna Circuit trek. This trek is relatively easy and can be an excellent choice for a trekking beginner! What is more, finding a helpful guide at this place is not difficult, so you can rest assured that you will see everything worth seeing. And a great option for beginners is the poon hill trek

The mystical aura of the place is also very beneficial as you may visit pilgrim sites along the road. If you want to learn more about a new culture, head to Nepal!

Now you know where you should travel in 2021, without having to undertake a task of climbing one of the seven summits (the highest mountain on each of the 7 continents)! Gather your trekking gear and get ready for an adventure. You have got some mountains to climb. Do not forget about your safety! Remember to follow your guide in the areas where there is no beaten track. Additionally, do not strain yourself while trekking.
