It’s time to get out of your comfort zone and experience the multitude of fantastic locations and cultures our world offers. Beyond the confines of everyday life, there are memories to build and relationships to rekindle. Here are five bucket list travel experiences that will inspire you to venture back into the world.

Music Festivals

We recommend that you bask in the sunshine and internalize the collective energy of being part of a crowd again. Music festivals are back in a big way all over America in 2022. There is the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and Coachella in Indio, California.

International Festivals

Alternatively, international festivals are the nudge you might need to buy a flight and plan a vacation. You could pummel yourself with tomatoes at La Tomatina in Spain or practice your beer balancing skills at Oktoberfest in Germany. Can you picture yourself celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Mexico or the Calgary Stampede in Canada? Festivals are a great reason to get to far-flung destinations at least once in your lifetime.

Your First Cruise

Cruising is back in a big way in 2022, and there is no better destination to start from than Miami. Don’t forget to look for where to stay in Miami pre and post-cruise, which is one of the few planning requirements when booking a Caribbean cruise. Once you are on the boat, we are confident you’ll relax and wonder why you didn’t jump on board sooner.

Canadian Road Trip

The freedom of hopping in the car without a set itinerary or definitive schedule is a spectacular feeling. Borders between the USA and Canada are open, so consider heading north and seeing where the days take you. You can benefit from the favorable exchange rate, practice the local lingo and find out why everyone is so obsessed with poutine.

African Safari

A safari tops almost every savvy traveler’s bucket list, but there has never been a time as good as now to witness African wildlife in its natural habitat. The aftermath of the pandemic has meant that travel specials are widely available, and many of the most famous of Africa’s national parks and attractions are yet to see their regular influx of tourists. The only problem we anticipate is that you will be forever hooked on the adrenaline and mystique of an African safari once you go.

Family Adventures

When did you last get together with multiple generations of your family, catch up with aunties and cousins or meet your nephew’s new wife? Remember that family reunions don’t need to be relegated to backyard BBQs when there is a world to explore.

However, we recommend making the travel plan straightforward rather than starting any unwanted family feuds. For example, pick an all-inclusive resort package with a group offering and then send the information out to everyone who might want to join. Each family member can then book directly simply by referencing your family name to the agent.

We find that the main predicament when ticking off items at the top of your bucket list is that more are always being added to the bottom of the page. However, don’t delay and start planning an adventure sure to spur your desire to get back out into the world.
