Sometimes it isn’t easy to shop for our Moms. Mother’s Day only comes once a year, and many of us want to impress her by purchasing something memorable, exciting, and uniquely hers. While there is no gift that can truly thank her for the gift of life, the following presents, ranging from sentimental and sweet to practical, are sure to make her feel loved on her special day.

The Bouqs Company: Flowers or Plants?

Gifting flowers to your Mother for Mother’s Day is pretty much a given, but that doesn’t make the gesture any less thoughtful and sweet. On Bouqs.com, you can choose between a large variety of bouquets, like the Love You Forever roses, or Magnetic, a blend of sunflowers and spider mums. However, if your Mom prefers plants for Mother’s Day, that can still be arranged.

Choose a bouquet of flowers if your Mom prefers a gift that doesn’t involve gardening, or pick a potted plant if she prefers to keep her gift for years to come.

Hereafter LA: Wood Cards or Journals?

Hereafter, LA is a website that specializes in woodworking and custom pieces. One of their most unique and famous offerings is the wood greeting card. Customers can print a message on the card that acts as a piece of artwork that can’t be ripped or torn. Hereafter, LA also customized wood journals, but they contain multiple lined pages for writing in and scrapbooking.

Choose a wood card if your Mom is more fond of displaying a piece of artwork, or pick the wood journal if she likes to write her thoughts down for safekeeping.

Minted: Photo Puzzle or Photo Calendar?

As a marketplace for independent artists, Minted is an online storefront that allows its customers to put practically anything on stationery, art, and other gifts. In fact, you can upload a family photograph to the website and create large 252-piece puzzles for a low price. Along with art, greeting cards, and aprons, customers can make a 12-month photo calendar, as well.

If you’re giving to a Mother who loves to complete projects, buy the puzzle. Moms who want to see their family daily but aren’t fond of puzzles will prefer the photo calendar.

Caitlyn Minimalist: Personalized Piece or Ready to Ship?

Buying jewelry for our Mothers is a milestone because not all of us are in the position to spend that kind of money. Now that you’re able to, you’ll have to think about what will suit her tastes, skin tone, and clothing. Through Cailyn Minimalist, you’ll face another great problem: Would my Mom prefer a ready-to-ship item or a personalized piece with her name on it or another symbol?

Purchase a personalized piece if she considers jewelry with her name on it or “I Love You Mom” sentimental. Otherwise, it’s best to choose something that’s ready to ship.

Garmin: SmartWatch or Analog Timepiece?

Garmin revolutionized the watch industry by creating beautiful smartwatches that everyone wants to wear, so the difficulty lies in what kind of interface she prefers. All of Garmin’s watches have smartwatch functionality, but the vívomove® Luxe looks similar to a traditional timepiece, while Venu® Series and fēnix® 6 Series look similar to a digital watch or Apple watch.

It’s better to choose an analog-looking timepiece if your Mom’s wardrobe won’t fit a more futuristic-looking watch or they prefer the old-fashioned design.

Parachute: Bedding or Pajamas?

When choosing between bedding or pajamas, you have to think about what your Mom may be lacking. Is she someone who gets hot quickly? Does she have a poor night’s sleep because of scratchy fabrics? Buying a matching pillowcase and sheet set could be a pleasant surprise after many years of using the same bedding, but she can use pajamas throughout the day.

Pick Parachute pajamas over bedding if you know her size, and she likes to lounge in her PJs all day. Other than that, buy new sheets that are breathable, soft, and easy to wash.
