Top 10 Reasons Why Israel Should Be In Your Travel Bucket List

Israel is a place that is home to various sites of major religious significance, such as those that are in relation the Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Many of the major attractions in Israel are related to these historical and religious themes, but in reality, there is an abundance of wonderful things to do and see in Israel, and for this reason, it should be on any travelers bucket list.

Incredible Beaches

Israel’s coast belongs to the Mediterranean Sea, one of the most prominent and busiest seas in the history of human interaction. The shores of Tel Aviv are especially beautiful, and the beauty doesn’t stop the further north you travel while coming across the cliffs of Acre. The beaches on Israel’s coast are all jaw-dropping, and very easily accessible for many people.

The Great Food

If you’ve ever been in a city in the U.S., such as NYC or Philadelphia, you’ve likely come across a Falafel food truck vendor on the street, with likely tons of people waiting to order. This style of food comes directly from Israel, and it doesn’t stop there. Famous in Israel is also their hummus and shakshuka. While in Israel, you can also try out their versions of food from other nationalities as well, such as by dining at a fine Asian restaurant!

Tel Aviv

There is so much to do in Tel Aviv, and so much to see, but the best part is that you can certainly see it all on a small trip! Popular culture is more prevalent here than any other city in the country, and you can easily notice this just by walking down a main road and taking in the differences of style present on people and buildings. In Tel Aviv, there’s a great food scene, great night life, and great shopping.

The Dead Sea

Israel is home to the Dead Sea, AKA the lowest point on earth. The Dead Sea is a lake that is so salty, you can just float in it without any issues for as long as you want. Due to the saltiness, there is no plant or aquatic life present, but taking a dip in the waters has many health and healing effects, thanks to the amount of salt present!

Example Of Coexistence

There is a lot of tension in today’s world between different groups of people, for differing reasons. In no other place in the world will you see coexistence and tolerance in such a place as Israel, where multiple religions interact with each other on a daily basis.

Gay Capital

Israel has become famously liberal over the years, and as a result, Tel Aviv now serves as one of the gay capitals of the world. Tel Aviv draws LQBT+ people from all over the country, as well as the world. Here, gay bars are just regular bars!

Beautiful Landscape

Israel is home to a vast range of differing landscapes and ecosystems. Further south, there is more desert and barren areas, such as the area that consists of the Dead Sea. Then, as you travel further north and closer to the sea, you are introduced to new landscapes, plant types and topography.

Time – Effective

Israel isn’t the biggest country around; it’s only about the size of New Jersey. Due to this, it makes seeing many of it’s destinations rather easy, because you can see them in a time effective manner. Going from South to North, or vice versa, will only take about 6 hours!

Bahia’s Hanging Gardens Of Haifa

Overlooking Haifa’s beach you will find the Hanging Gardens Of Haifa. This is one of the most beautiful and interesting gardens in the world. The flowers and garden objects are arranged in such a way that you’ve likely never seen such a beautiful display of detail before!

Only Place Where Hebrew Is Spoken!

Over the course of the past century, people of Israel have been reviving the historical language of Hebrew, working to create new words and ways of using the language that fit into 21st century standards.
