When you think of Argentina, you probably imagine beautiful Patagonian views. It is no secret that this country has one of the most unique and attractive mountain landscapes you would ever see.

Visiting Argentina is a one-way ticket to having the best wine and the most delicious food, together with exclusive tourism across hundreds of miles of different climates, nature, wildlife and cultures you would enjoy.

You can experience everything in just one visit: mountains, lakes, glaciers, falls and of course great beaches! So, you will never get bored, and you will surely enjoy your time at this fantastic southern spot.

Tango, wine and culture seem to be a perfect combination for a great experience. Political issues don’t seem to ruin all the magic Argentina has to offer to their visitors. Some of the latest news about some government announcements appear to give more reasons to come and visit.

Nowadays, Argentina has attracted tourists from all over the world due to its recent legalisation of marijuana for medicinal purposes. It is now legal to grow Cannabis for treating several medical conditions with formal medical authorisation. This makes products like CBD oil and its derivates more accessible for patients who need it to get it directly from the drug store or online commerce.

With all this said, let’s step into the unique touristic options. This beautiful country offers and starts planning your next visit!

Top 8 beaches

As we said, Argentina has beautiful beaches for everybody´s choice. Whether you prefer a noisy and sleepless city or a lovely and unforgettable sunset, you will find everything you are looking for.

It is true that maybe you need to take a flight from one place to another because, yes, it is a vast country and that is why it offers many different options and several kinds of vacations.

1. Las Grutas (piedras Coloradas beach)

This beach has been chosen as the “most beautiful beach in Argentina”, located in Rio Negro Province, at the San Antonio department. This place is famous for having the warmest waters on the southern coast.

Its name means “caves” and that is something you will find when you visit this wonderful town. Cliffs and sand will make you feel perfectly merged with nature.

One of the most exciting things about “Las Grutas” is that many tourists have not yet discovered it, being an excellent option for a quiet and peaceful experience.

2. Mar del Plata

One of the most famous beaches is located 400km away from Buenos Aires capital city. It is, by far, the most popular beach for local tourism, and that is why it is always awake. Casinos, restaurants and theatres are some of the popular attractions this city offers to its visitors.

Seafood is one of its main highlights as well, and while you enjoy its amazing beaches during the day, you can also have the best time at night. Surfers also prefer this city, and many regional tournaments take place by its coast.

3. Pinamar

A traditional city where families used to go and spend their two-months vacation.  That turned this place into the perfect beach for teenagers and children. Together with Villa Gessell, which is only 16 km away, they both have a festive atmosphere, with nightclubs and bars where you will surely enjoy your evenings, but also with the most fantastic pine forest where you will see many people jogging early in the morning.

4. Cariló

This lovely town nearby Pinamar is a real fairytale place to visit. With most of its houses and hotels built inside the forest, you will probably feel you are inside an ancient tale. Its little marketplace is also a lovely place full of excellent restaurants and activities for the whole family.

5. Monte Hermoso

This city, located 100 km away from the town of Bahia Blanca (700km from Buenos Aires capital city), has, for sure, the most beautiful sunsets you will experience at any Argentinean beach. The shape of the coast at this point makes it possible to have both sunrise and sunset on the sea, and believe me, they are amazing!

The beach is enormous, so you will indeed find a blank spot for you to settle with your friends and family and enjoy a wonderful beach day. You have to know that you need to take your food because there are very few bars by the shore.

6. Mar de las Pampas

This tiny and lovely town is chosen mainly by families who want a rustic and straightforward beach experience. There is only one bar by the sea, and it has primarily small apartments and B&B to offer.

7. Necochea

This city is located in La Pampa province and offers a very unique and fantastic experience. Much different from any other beach. It has many hotels and beach activities for the whole family. People choose this place for its calm and beautiful landscapes.

8. Mar Azul

Only 350km away from Buenos Aires capital city, this fabulous beach resort offers a fantastic version of the ocean. Diving lessons are available, and you will have a wonderful time enjoying one of the warmest waters of the area.

Lake beaches

But as we said before, Argentina has many different options for you to choose from and for sure, Patagonia is one of the most beautiful places on earth. So, if you prefer this kind of experience, you will find many possibilities you will love!

Bariloche, Villa la Angostura, San Martin de Los Andes, any of these beautiful cities you choose to go to will give you a magnificent welcome and offer premium services for you and your family.

Cruise rental, rafting, fishing and a fabulous beach day on the lakes are some of the special activities you will find in any city or town all along the Patagonian floor.
