After a long week, we all crave for a day of relaxation, and there is no great destination than Atlantic City to relax and rewind. From the warm sandy beaches to the boardwalk lined with casinos, this is one city that you will never forget. If you think that the casinos there are too expensive, then there is a solution for that too.

However, if you are thinking about doing a lot more than just that, then take a look at this list of the best things that you can do in Atlantic City in one day.

Shop at The Playground Pier

If you are looking for a good shopping experience, then The Playground Pier is the first place you should visit. Formerly known as The Pier Shops at Caesars, this breathtaking destination at the edge of the ocean has a huge collection of shops ranging from Tommy Bahama, Victoria’s Secret, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Apple, Burberry, Gucci, and much more.

Dine at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub and Grill

All that shopping can work up a good appetite. Gordon Ramsay’s Pub and Grill is worth visiting for dining in Atlantic City. The menu filled with British pub favorites and the armchair-equipped table can make you feel like you are in a posh English pub. However, the real highlight is the famous beef wellington from Hell’s Kitchen.

Visit Steel Pier amusement park

Opened nearly a century ago, this waterside wonderland is as old as the broadway. Over the years, they have renovated the park many times and maintained classic rides like Rock-n-Roll, the Slingshot, and the Ferris wheel. The helicopter rides can give you a stunning ariel view of the AC shoreline. It may cost you a little extra, but the view is worth it.

Go for a walk on the boardwalk

There is no doubt that the boardwalk is the main reason most people visit Atlantic City. The light breeze from the ocean, souvenir shops selling saltwater taffy, and the people of all ages make this famed tourist attraction even more memorable each time you visit. There is also a Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum on the boardwalk at New York Avenue. If you like visiting museums, give it a try as well.

Hit the beach

Atlantic city is all about beaches. There are more than 7 miles of coastline with easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants. The soft camel-hued sands and the Atlantic Ocean’s waves are ideal for a wide variety of beach activities including boogie boarding, wave jumping, or just relaxing on your beach chair. The best part is that unlike the other New Jersey beaches, AC ones are free to access.

Party all night

In a city that calls itself the entertainment capital of the Jersey Shore, you will not be having trouble finding the bars, nightclubs, or any other place to dance. If you are lucky you will even find one with a famous DJ spinning. After a great day in America’s playground, you deserve a wild dance party after all.
